Juventus defeated Crotone 3-0 to secure their sixth consecutive Scudetto title with a game to spare. Wins for Roma and Napoli on Saturday night counted for nothing as Massimiliano Allegri's men got the job done in Turin.

Goals from Mario Mandzukic, Alex Sandro and Paulo Dybala secured the victory and now, the manager can look at resting players next week with one eye on the Champions League final against Real Madrid on June 3rd.

The home side started strongly, pressing their opponents back with some slick passing and on 12 minutes, the Old Lady had a deserved lead.

Mandzukic was the scorer, meeting Juan Cuadrado's beautiful ball across the box from the right and the Croatian bundled the ball home.

The home side continued to enforce their dominance with Crotone camped on the edge of their box with Cuadrado and Dybala regularly breaching the visitor's defensive lines.

Despite dictating proceedings, Juve struggled to create any meaningful chances with the final ball letting them down on a regular basis.

In the 33rd minute, their frustration was nearly ended when Dybala floated a beautiful pass towards Gonzalo Higuain but it was just turned away for a corner when the Argentine was all set to nod the ball in to make it 2-0.

But, just five minutes later, the Serie A title was effectively secured by Dybala's wonderful left foot. The Argentinian forward whipped a perfect free kick over the Crotone wall, leaving the goalkeeper helpless - a real moment of genius from the magician.

The game resumed its pattern from the first half in the second period with the hosts firmly on the front foot.

Crotone simply couldn't match them with Juve going into cruise control and in the 65th minute, it should have been three, but Dybala's shot was well charged down in the box after great work from Sandro - the Brazilian could have had a shot on goal himself.

The search for the third continued and in the 75th minute, Miralem Pjanic was guilty of a poor miss, blazing his shot over the bar from about six yards out after a great flick from Higuain.

But, in the 83rd minute, the Old Lady had their third after Sandro met a corner with a powerful header and the ball just crossed the line to send the fans into pandemonium.

The hosts expertly saw out the remaining few minutes to seal the league title and their second piece of silverware.
