Paris Saint-Germain star Blaise Matuidi is reportedly eager to leave the Parc Des Princes this summer and Manchester United could be a destination for the French midfielder, with his current contract expiring in 2018.

That is according to Le Parisien, via Sport Witness, who believe that the 30-year-old, who was linked with a move to Old Trafford in the summer, could finally make the move to England.

Matuidi has been one of the finest midfield players in the world for a while now and with a reported price tag of just  €10-15m, the all-action midfielder would be a steal for Jose Mourinho.

Adrien Rabiot is being groomed as the successor to the French international and Matuidi may feel his time in the French capital is up.

With international colleague Paul Pogba and former PSG teammate Zlatan Ibrahimovic already at United, it is rumoured that Matuidi would welcome the move with open arms.

The French international was the hero for his current side in midweek, scoring a late winner in the 3-2 win away to Metz to keep PSG in the title race against Monaco.

Their next game sees them host Montpellier as the Ligue 1 title race enters its dramatic conclusion.
