It's difficult to assess just how good PSG forward Hatem Ben Arfa really is.

On one hand, the France international scored 17 Ligue 1 goals in 34 appearances last season to earn himself a move to the French champions last summer.

Then again, this is also a player who failed to make the grade while on loan at Hull City and ultimately left Newcastle having frustrated Magpies fans with his inability to produce consistent performances in line with his occasional flashes of brilliance.

While he may struggle to earn game time at PSG he is still capable of producing moments of magic, and that's exactly what he did during the 4-0 Coupe de France win over Avranches on Wednesday.

Collecting the ball on the edge of area out wide, Ben Arfa worked the ball onto his left foot before whipping an absolute scorcher past the helpless Anthony Beuve, with the ball whizzing into top corner at the back stick.

Ben Arfa helped PSG set up a semi-final match against Monaco, while the goal was his fourth of the season.
