Brazilian superstar Neymar has been clocked as Barcelona's fastest player so far this season, according to information published by Spanish outlet Marca.
The 25-year-old, who recently scored his 100th Barça goal and played his 500th career game across club and international level, hit a top speed of 34.83km/h in a game against Sporting Gijon.

That was faster than a surprising 34.25km/h from 33-year-old defender Jeremy Mathieu, and 33.8km/h from noted speedster Aleix Vidal before his long-term injury.
Javier Mascherano and Jordi Alba make up the squad's top five fastest players this season, while Sergio Busquets is sixth after being clocked at a top speed of 33.64km/h.
The same can't be said for Barcelona's other midfielders. Ivan Rakitic has been the slowest outfield player, reaching a top speed of 30.66km/h. Veteran captain Andres Iniesta has been the next slowest, but at 31.62km/h has still run noticeably quicker than his Croatian colleague.
