Borussia Dortmund defender Marc Bartra has taken to Twitter to reaffirm his desire to meet the brave BVB fan who was seen sat amongst the Schalke supporters during last weekend's Ruhr derby.

There were a number of bizarre incidents throughout the 1-1 draw on Saturday, with Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang donning a mask during his goal celebration, whilst Schalke's mascot, Erwin, also jokingly handed referee Felix Zwayer a red card.

Despite everything that happened on the pitch, one travelling supporter made the headlines after she seen wearing a Dortmund shirt while she was sat in the home end with all the Schalke fans.

Having seen this brave stunt, Bartra took to Twitter after the match to ask for help in trying to track down the woman and suggested that he wanted to meet her in order to hand over his matchday shirt as reward for showing such loyalty.

Within 24 hours of stating his intentions, it seems that the former Barcelona man has managed to discover the name of the Dortmund supporter and when revealing the news on social media, Bartra has confirmed that he intends to keep his promise by meeting the woman in question.

He wrote: "Yesss!! Thanks to everybody: fans, media... all of you! We've found our brave supporter! A promise is a promise, see you soon Steffi!"
