Arsenal and Spain forward Lucas Perez has been ruled out of action for three weeks due to an apparent thigh problem, adding to Arsenal's injury woes.
The Spanish forward didn't travel to play against West Brom on Saturday and it has been revealed by Goal.com, that it is because he has picked up a thigh injury. This is a huge blow for both Arsene and Perez, as Arsenal have been hit by injury after injury recently and Perez was looking to fight his way into the first team picture at the Gunners.
Luckily for Arsenal though, this has happened just as an international break is coming, so he isn't going to miss as many games as he could have potentially. However, he is still expected to miss their games against Manchester City and West Ham once the season continues.
Unfortunately for Perez, this is a huge blow because he was looking to try and fight his way into the first team at Arsenal, especially with the potential injury to Sanchez. He was also looking to get into the Spain squad for the 2018 World Cup, and not playing won't do him any favours.
In what has been a nightmare for Arsene Wenger recently, Lucas Perez joins the list of injured first team players, which is really affecting his team and potentially his job. The Spaniard joins Ozil, Sanchez and Cech on the medical table, which is not what Arsenal need with their current poor form.
Perez has started in nine games so far this season and Arsenal have won eight of those, showing that he will be a huge miss if Sanchez is ruled out for a long time after the Chilean came off injured against West Brom on Saturday.
