Leeds winger Hadi Sacko has taken to Twitter to express his disgust at the state of the Portman Road pitch following his side's 1-1 draw with Ipswich on Saturday.

Garry Monk's side were seeking to continue their push for an automatic promotion spot, however they fell behind early on when Freddie Sears put the hosts ahead and though Leeds equalised through Stuart Dallas before half-time, they were unable to find a winner and close the gap between themselves and second-placed Newcastle United

Whilst the Leeds boss was happy with the point considering the testing pitch conditions, Sacko made his feelings clear about the state of the playing area when posting on Twitter after the full-time whistle.

The Frenchman wrote: "A good point taken on a **** pitch after trailing 1-0.. could have been better but let's be satisfied with it hope you guys got home well.

"(by **** I mean poor or messy)."

The point means that Leeds are now in fifth place in the Championship and remain in contention for a place in the play-offs.

The games keep coming for Monk's side, with a Yorkshire derby against Sheffield Wednesday awaiting them this coming weekend, where Sacko and his teammates will be hoping for a much-improved playing surface compared to the one at Portman Road.
