Former Arsenal player and current Sky Sports pundit Paul Merson has revealed how he thinks Arsenal and Tottenham's starting XI compare.
Speaking to his colleague Geoff Stelling ahead of this weekend's fixtures, the conversation soon turned to Merson's former side.
Upon discussing the importance of Alexis Sanchez, Merson revealed that he believes that the Chilean is the only Arsenal player that would make it into Mauricio Pochettino's starting lineup.
However, could the former attacker have just highlighted the progression Tottenham have made on their local rivals in recent years? The likes of Petr Cech, Laurent Koscielny, Hector Bellerin and Mesut Ozil all miss out, according to Merson's beliefs.
Arsenal are currently three points behind Spurs in the league table and with the race for the top four really heating up in recent weeks, Arsene Wenger's men really need to turn their form around.
