A portion of Liverpool owner John Henry's emails have been made available for viewing, and what's on there concerning the club isn't nice.

This is the last thing fans want to see at a moment in which the Reds appear to be in crisis, having won just one game since the turn of the year.

Liverpool v Hull City - Premier League

The team carried on with their poor form, losing 2-0 against Hull City on Saturday, and - with Manchester City beating Swansea City on Sunday - have dropped out of the top four.

Ever since the Fenway Sports Group took over the club, Liverpool haven't bought a single world-class player, and have since sold the ones they already had. Fernando Torres left for Chelsea, Javier Mascherano left for Barcelona, and Luis Suarez joined the La Liga giants as well.

Despite their managers' willingness to strengthen, the spending has never really reflected the team's ambition.

The emails, which have freely available from the New York Supreme Court since FSG bought Liverpool in 2010, put Henry and co. in a very bad light, as it clearly shows that the only interest is in profit.

Henry also claims that his group 'stole' the club for a very cheap price, and he wouldn't have minded taking a point deduction if it ever came to that.

Certainly in poor taste, that.
