Villarreal striker Alexandre Pato is set to move to the Chinese Super League after an unsuccessful period in La Liga.
Pato has managed just two goals and an assist in 14 La Liga appearances so far this season, and may not be able to register any more strikes for the Yellow Submarine after rumours emerged of a potential move to Asia.

Independent reporter Ed Malyon claims that the former AC Milan prodigy is likely to sign for an unnamed Chinese Super League team this week, with only personal terms yet to be agreed.
Pato is the latest high profile player to have his head turned by a potential move to Asia. Diego Costa missed a Premier League game for Chelsea after talk of a potential Stamford Bridge exit, while Pato's compatriots Hulk, Ramires, Paulinho and Oscar already ply their trade in Asia after quitting top level football in Europe.
Pato was seen as a highly rated prospect during his time at Milan but has failed to fulfil that promise. Subsequent spells in Brazil failed to reap any rewards, while a loan at Chelsea last season was also fruitless.
