The Dimitri Payet saga keeps rambling on, and with less than a week left in this transfer window, we could see the French midfielder return to Marseille, having told West Ham that he no longer cherishes their employment.
The Hammers have rejected three bids for the player, with the latest being an offer of around £23m. They are said to value Payet at £35m, and won't settle for a penny less, but Marseille are unwilling to pay more than £25m, and are holding out for as long as they can in order to get the best deal.

That notion isn't unanimous, however. It is being reported that some top figures at the Ligue 1 club want to give up on the signing, while others are still intent on pursuing the player.
