Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard has claimed that Manchester United's world record signing Paul Pogba has 'scary' potential, which should be a concern to Liverpool fans in the coming seasons.
The French midfielder arrived at Old Trafford in the summer for £85m following four successful seasons at Italian giants Juventus.
And following a patchy start, the midfielder has settled in well and is beginning to show the qualities that convinced Jose Mourinho to bring Pogba back to Manchester United.
After United's dramatic victory over Middlesbrough - which culminated in two late goals to win the fixture 2-1 - Steven Gerrard stated (via the Metro):"I think he’s got better and stronger week by week. He’s obviously a phenomenal talent.
"I think coming in with that big price tag early on has weighed him down a bit and Manchester United weren’t in their rhythm.
"I think Michael Carrick compliments him so well.

"Now we’re seeing the Paul Pogba we all expected to see. He’s only going to get better and better. He’s young, he’s leggy, he’s got all the tools in the bag.
"There’s no doubt about it, he’s one of the best midfielder’s in the world now and he’s going to get better which is a scary thought being a Liverpool fan."
Perhaps the most complete midfielder of the Premier League era, Gerrard knows what he's talking about and it'll be interesting to see how Pogba develops now that he's more accustomed to the rigours of the England's top flight.
