With Chelsea set to grab a massive £60m from the sale of Brazilian attacking midfielder Oscar, reports suggest that they are prepared and ready to go all guns blazing to bring in Bayern Munich maestro Arturo Vidal.

According to Don Balon, Vidal is ready to move on from the German giants and wants his next challenge to be in England. The imminent sale of Oscar would free up funds for Antonio Conte to use in bringing in the Chilean next summer.

The Spanish rumourmongers report that Chelsea have an offer pending for Vidal to join them in the summer for around £42m; with the pair having worked together previously when he managed Italian giants Juventus.

Bayern wouldn't be hurting if the midfielder left - with the likes of Renato Sanches, Joshua Kimmich and Thiago Alcantera in their ranks, they are by no means short of midfield options.

Vidal would be highly unlikely to join the Blues without the promise of Champions League football, but the London side's resurgence under Conte looks to have made that a near certainty.

Chelsea have won 11 games in a row and currently sit top of the Premier League, six points clear of rivals Liverpool, with Manchester City, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur closely behind ready to pounce on any sizeable Blues slip-up.
