However, nine years later the former world beater has become something of a fallen star, plying his trade in America with Orlando City.

Caroline Celico, a Brazilian singer and socialite, who was married to Kaka for 10 years, has a new boyfriend now and he has made a strange reference to his missus' famous ex online.
Celico's new man Eduardo Scarpa received the gift of an Orlando City replica shirt with ‘Kaka 10’ on the back, which was given to him by his friend DJ Diego Moura.
DJ Diego Moura wrote on Instagram: Delivering the Orlando City shirt as a gift to my Secret Enemy.
Scarpa evidently saw the funny side of it, and was kind enough to pose for a picture wearing his love rival's shirt.
Maybe he really is a fan of the former Real Madrid man!
