7 Hidden Gems You Need To Sign In FIFA 17's Career Mode
With the annual release of FIFA 17 is just around the corner, EA Sports have released a few snippets that are sure to get those football simulator brains tingling in time for the September 27th release.
Various information has been released, including details of player ratings as well as newly-improved game modes, which includes the highly-popular career mode.
Career mode will now consist of a far more realistic and in-depth approach, featuring fully-animated managers and a finely tuned transfer market.
However, FIFA fans will be aware that although the new visual enhancements look good, the key to career mode is finding hidden gems while they are cheap.
Here is a list of seven players, with heaps of FIFA potential, that you just need to sign in FIFA 17's career mode.
7. Dele Alli - Tottenham
Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli was a tough selection in this list, as he has become less of a hidden gem and more of a household name following a terrific debut season in the Premier League.
Nonetheless, the 20-year-old will be a worthy addition to any career mode side in FIFA 17, he boasts an initial rating of 80, which has the potential to rise to 90 after a couple of seasons.
6. Kelechi Iheanacho - Manchester City
Kelechi Iheanacho showed more than enough in his first season at City to suggest that he may well become a world leading striker one day.
The 19-year-old scored 14 goals in 35 appearances for City last season, and he could be equally as prolific on FIFA, as he is rated at 74, with the potential to be 88, rising a superb 14 points.
5. Mbappe Lottin - AS Monaco
17-year-old striker Mbappe Lottin became the youngest player to score for Monaco in February this year, breaking Thierry Henry's record.
He also boasts a tidy record for France at U19 level, scoring seven goals for Les Bleus in eight appearances in 2016.
And EA Sports believe the talented youngster has what it takes to emulate his compatriot's success, with the potential to become an 87-rated left-winger, which is the same as West Ham and France midfielder Dimitri Payet.
4. Timothy Fosu-Mensah - Manchester United
Louis Van Gaal's tenure at Manchester United ended prematurely with the arrival on Jose Mourinho this summer, but his work at the club still lives on as United now boast a number of talented young players with first-team experience.
One of those is fellow Dutchman Timothy Fosu-Mensah, who dazzled supporters with his versatile style of play.
FIFA have the 18-year-old down as a holding midfielder, but he is also proficient across the defensive line.
Fosu-Mensah has a modest initial rating of 71, yet with the potential to become an 87-rated midfielder he is one of the hottest prospects in FIFA 17.
3. Václav Černý - Ajax
Ajax's Czech winger Václav Černý looks set to be the latest speed merchant in FIFA 17. The left-winger has a relatively low initial rating of 69, but after a few seasons he will become a world-beater with a potential rating of 86.
Černý won the Czech Republic Talent of the Year award in 2015, which has been won in previous years by the likes of Petr Cech, Tomáš Rosický as well as former Liverpool striker Milan Baros.
2. Kasper Dolberg - Ajax
Another player to come through the Ajax academy is young Danish striker Kasper Dolberg. The 18-year-old has the potential to reach a rating of 85, which is a 17 point increase on his initial rating of 68.
Dolberg has started the 2016/17 season in fine form, scoring three goals in his opening seven games for Ajax's senior team.
He is a tall and physical striker, meaning that if you're a FIFA long-ball merchant, Dolberg could well be the man for the job.
1. Reece Oxford - West Ham United
West Ham did unbelievably well to fend off interest from the likes of Manchester City this summer and hold onto Reece Oxford.
This time last year, the 17-year-old picked up a man-of-the-match performance in a win over Arsenal at the Emirates, and in every West Ham performance since the teenager continues to look more and more assured in the centre of defence.
The Hammers defender has the most potential out of anyone in FIFA 17, with the potential to improve on an initial rating of 66 by a staggering 20 points, which would see he become one of the highest rated defenders in the Premier League.
A must pick for you FIFA 17 career mode aficionados.
