Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has held talks with Nemanja Matic on Wednesday over the Serbian international's future at Stamford Bridge, according to reports.
The 28-year-old has been the subject of transfer interest from Italian champions Juventus, who are looking to replace the departing Paul Pogba after he signed for Man Utd for a world-record £110m fee.
Earlier in the summer it was reported that both Man Utd and Juventus were front-runners for Matic, but with United signing Pogba, Juventus remain the best suited club to launch a bid.
The Daily Mail report that Juventus have been in direct contact with Matic, offering him an attractive contract.
Initially the ex-Benfica midfielder wanted to stay at Stamford Bridge, however Juventus' offer has tempted him to move to Turin.
