13. David Edgar Close to Sign in MLS?

​The skipper of the Canada National Team has said repeatedly he wants to sign for an MLS team, and it seems his dream will finally come true. The defender has been training with Vancouver Whitecaps over the past month, and all signs point towards both sides getting a deal done sooner than later.

12. Three MLS Teams Interested in Roderick Miller

​Roderick Miller was one of the most consistent players for Panama in the 2016 Copa America Centenario, and even though he has plenty of offers on the table, he could sign for an MLS team in the near future. Philadelphia Union, Chicago Fire and Columbus Crew (on that particular order) have all expressed interest in securing the services of the 24-year-old left back.

11. Ever Alvarado will Add Depth on Sporting Kansas City

A left back who has plenty of experience with the Honduras national team, Alvarado is pretty close to secure a deal with Sporting Kansas City. Reports have indicated the deal is done in a 90%, and even though the fit isn't exactly clear - since SKC has Jimmy Medranda, Amadou Dia and Seth Sinovic on the squad - Alvarado will add even more competition on the defensive line.

10. Dilly Duka Signs with Columbus Crew

​Dilly Duka is set to return home. After falling out of favor with the Montreal Impact, the 26-year-old midfielder has completed a move to join Columbus Crew, the team in which he made his professional debut. He's versatile enough to play anywhere in midfield, and he will fit perfect in the team's tactical system as soon as he gets some much-needed match fitness - he hasn't played an official game since November 2015.

9. Meanwhile, Emil Larsen is Ready to Return to Denmark

​Emil Larsen has said repeatedly he's looking to return to Denmark after failing to adjust to the life at the States, and it seems he will have his wish granted. According to the local press in the Scandinavian country, both Nordsjaelland and Midtjylland - two teams that compete in the Danish SuperLiga - are pretty close to sign him.

8. Emerson Hyndman Won't Join San Jose Earthquakes

​Emerson Hyndman has been a member of the USMNT pool for a long time, and he was included on the preliminary roster for the 2016 Copa America Centenario. There was talk of him moving to MLS in order to be closer to Jurgen Klinsmann's radar, but the speculation ended this week when the midfield signed a deal to join Bournemouth in England. The San Jose Earthquakes were interested in him, but now they'll be forced to look elsewhere for help in the middle of the pitch.

Toronto FC has a strong attack with Jozy Altidore and Sebastian Giovinco leading the way, but the Canadian franchise is reportedly looking to bolster its offense due to Altidore's poor form and Giovinco's recent injury issues. TFC has set its sights on Lukas Podolski, a former Arsenal and Bayern Munich forward who currently plays for Galatasaray in Turkey.
