Despite the Copa America Centenerio hiatus, however, teams were still making moves and analyzing the transfer market trying to find the best way to improve the squad considering the transfer window will open during July.

1. Andrés Guardado spoke about his chances to join Atlanta United FC

Andres Guardado is, apparently, getting closer to join Atlanta United FC. The Mexican is apparently leaning towards joining the expansion side in 2017, and he didn't rule out a move when asked about it by several pundits in Mexico's training camp during the Copa America: "MLS is growing a lot, and they are signing younger and better players each day. We'll see what happens in the future, but knowing a team wants you is always flattering."
