11. Leicester Lead Premier League Rivals in Mendy Chase

Leicester City are strong favourites to beat the likes of ​West Ham United, Sunderland and Wolfsburg to the signing of Nampalys Mendy from Nice this summer, according to ​L'Equipe.

The Foxes will press on with the deal even if they manage to keep N'Golo Kante at the club, even while the likes of ​Chelsea and Paris Saint Germain are hoping to sign the Frenchman.

France's RMC report that Leicester have made an offer of between €10m and €15m, though Nice are holding out for more and talks are still ongoing. 

Mendy is ready to join Leicester over the other clubs because of their Champions League football and the fact he's worked with Claudio Ranieri before at Monaco.

10. Everton Consider Palace's Scott Dann as a Summer Transfer Target

Crystal Palace's Scott Dann is set to be added to Everton's list of transfer targets if and when John Stones leaves the club this summer, according to the ​Liverpool Echo.

Dann has been a top performer for Palace over the last few years, and likely new Everton boss Ronald Koeman is looking to bring the experienced 29-year-old in to fill the potential void.

53-year-old Koeman has been monitoring Dann at during his time with Southampton​.

9. Swans Eye Cheap Deal for Verona Full Back

​Hellas Verona's Eros Pisano has emerged as a summer target for Francesco Guidolin at Swansea, according to reports in ​Italy.

The 29-year-old has just a year to run on his contract at Verona, who have just been relegated from Serie A, and would only command a small fee. 

Guidolin is looking for a long-term answer at right back, after failing to use Kyle Naughton too much in the final weeks of last season.

8. Pochettino Looks to Promes for Alternative Out Wide

​Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has recently been watching Netherlands winger Quincy Promes with a view to potentially signing the player for the new season, according to the Daily Mail.

Spurs have a number of inverted wingers in their squad in the shape of Erik Lamela and Nacer Chadli, but Pochettino is keen to sign a winger with pace to change matters up a little.

Promes has been identified as one possible player who could provide an alternative.

​Another Spurs target, Samuel Umtiti, will decide on his future after Euro 2016.

7. Hammers Table £10m Offer for Croatian Whizz-kid Ante Coric

​West Ham have made a move to sign Croatian youngster Ante Coric, reported Vecernji List.

Coric is one of the highest-rated young stars in Croatia, and has been linked with a number of other Premier League clubs - including both Liverpool and Tottenham. 

He scored five goals and bagged six assists for Dinamo Zagreb last season, and has been targeted by the Hammers in a deal worth £10m.

6. Townsend Ready to Shun Palace and Saints to Stay at Newcastle

​Andros Townsend is ready to stay at Newcastle United despite their relegation to the Championship, and could turn down a number of Premier League clubs to do so.

Crystal Palace, West Ham and Southampton are battling to sign the England international - even while the ​Telegraph report the former are in the box seat - but the ​Mirror propose a conflicting story stating that the winger is set to stay at St. James' Park.

Townsend told his side he is happy to remain on Tyneside while in talks with boss Rafa Benitez on Monday.

5. Atletico Could Beat Guardiola's City to Sassuolo Full Back

Manchester City are set to lose out to Atletico Madrid in the hunt to sign another Croatian, in the shape of right back Sime Vrsaljko.

Transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio says Diego Simeone’s side close to completing a deal to sign Vrsaljko ahead of the new season, though Napoli and Arsenal are also in the hunt for the Sassuolo man.

4. Chelsea Holding Out £39m for Diego Costa

​We're not done with Atletico Madrid there either, as Spanish newspaper ​AS report that Chelsea striker Diego Costa is one of five strikers on their summer shortlist.

Edinson Cavani, Gonzalo Higuain, Kevin Gameiro and Alexandre Lacazette are Atleti's other alternatives, but Diego Simeone is said to be keen to link up once more with his former hitman - who left Vicente Calderon for Chelsea in 2014.

Atletico value Costa at £29.6m, though Chelsea are holding out for closer to £39m.

3. Liverpool Boss Klopp Keen on £31m-Rated Ruben Neves

​Portuguese newspaper Record claim Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is keen on signing Porto wonderkid Ruben Neves, even while the player's £31m price tag could prove problematic to the Merseysiders.

The 19-year-old's market value is around £8m less than the aforementioned fee, but Porto are keen on maximising their figures with any potential sale of the player.

​The Reds have also been linked with Neves' club-mate Hector Herrera over the last 24 hours.

2. Arsenal Submit Reported £25m Mahrez Bid

Arsenal aren't only trying to sign Leicester City's Jamie Vardy - they're also reportedly determined to sign PFA Player of the Year Riyad Mahrez.​

Mahrez has been the subject of a £25m offer from Arsenal according to Italian journalist ​Tancredi Palmeri, with Gunners officials meeting with the winger's representatives a number of times before submitting the offer.

In other Arsenal news, they're going to have to ​watch out for Barcelona's underhand tactics in their pursuit of Hector Bellerin.

1. Barcelona Ready 7-Year Messi Contract Offer to Ward Off Manchester United

Barcelona have moved to stop speculation that Lionel Messi could move to Manchester United by tabling a new SEVEN-YEAR contract offer to the Argentinian superstar.

Spanish newspaper ​Sport​ report that Barca officials are ready to keep Messi at the club until age 35 - and until 2022 - and stop clubs such as United sniffing around in the process.

United manager Jose Mourinho has ​made an enquiry over Messi's availability recently, but is said to be disappointed.

​The Red Devils won't be disappointed in their pursuit of Eric Bailly though, as he's set to undergo a medical ahead of his transfer to Old Trafford.
