Liverpool snatched a dramatic late equaliser through Joe Allen in a Premier League thriller that ended 3-3.

Roberto Firmino put Liverpool ahead, but Ramsey cancelled it out by rounding off a great counter attacking move. The Reds were back in front after Firmino's pearler, but two Giroud strikes either side of half time put Arsenal in the ascendancy. With time running out, Joe Allen smashed in a low volley to rescue a point for Klopp's men.

Here is how the players rated:

Liverpool Goalkeeper and Defence

Liverpool v Arsenal - Premier League

Simon Mignolet - 5

Got beaten at his near post and wasn't quite authoritative enough.

Nathaniel Clyne - 6

Struggled defensively at times and was caught in possession occasionally, but good going forward.

Mamadou Sakho - 6

Headed an effort off the line and coped with Arsenal counter attacks with some well timed tackles.

Kolo Toure - 5

His lack of pace was telling as Joel Campbell and Walcott surged Arsenal forward on the counter attack, and lost his man too many times as with Ramsey's goal.

Alberto Moreno - 7

Great overlapping play down the wing, whipped in a couple of well timed crosses.

Emre Can - 7

Started the match in stunning fashion, gliding through midfield and playing some perfect balls from deep, although he faded late in the game.

Jordan Henderson - 6

Helped his side keep possession well in the centre of the park and mixed things up with his passing range.

James Milner - 7

Fought hard as always and drove the ball into the heart of the Arsenal defence; linking up the midfield with the attack.

Jordan Ibe - 7

Caused Arsenal problems with his speed and dribbling, put in some testing balls that had the Gunners back-peddling.

Adam Lallana - 5

Had a few good chances that he could've done better with and lost possession a few times.

Liverpool Attack

Liverpool v Arsenal - Premier League

Roberto Firmino - 8

He needs to do this more often for Liverpool. Great positioning to be on hand to finish for the first, and the second was an absolutely stunning striker from far out.

Subs

Christian Benteke - 6

Provided the headed assist for Allen's late goal, but before that failed to offer a significant contribution.

Joe Allen - 6

His late strike to get Liverpool level was his only real impact, but what an impact.

Steven Caulker - N/A

Arsenal Goalkeeper and Defence

Petr Cech - 6

Conceding three goals is never commendable, although he didn't make any notable mistakes.

Hector Bellerin - 7

Superb aggression to win the ball inside Liverpool's half to assist Giroud's second and showed great pace throughout the game.

Per Mertesacker - 6

Was good in the air and made some effective clearances.

Laurent Koscielny - 6

Was quick to get the ball out of defence to aid his side's counter attacking and timed his tackles well.

Nacho Monreal - 7

Did well to stand tall against Lallana and also push forward as Arsenal countered.

Arsenal Midfield

FBL-ENG-PR-LIVERPOOL-ARSENAL

Mathieu Flamini - 6

Seemed to be a forgotten man at the start of the season, but is filling in well as understudy to the likes of Coquelin and Cazorla.

Aaron Ramsey - 7

Great run to get away from Kolo Toure for his goal, gave Arsenal that energy as they bombed forward.

Joel Campbell - 7

One of Campbell's best Arsenal performances so far as he linked up well with the front four, and tested Mignolet with a few pesky shots.

Mesut Ozil - 6

Not able to rack up an assist on this occasion would you believe it. Quiet game for the German, but his passing was nice and tidy.

Theo Walcott - 6

Left wing isn't his best position, but he showed his versatility and added speed and great delivery from out wide.

Arsenal Attack

Liverpool v Arsenal - Premier League

Olivier Giroud - 8

Man of the match. He's been in fantastic goalscoring form this season and displayed his deadliness in front of goal with two strikes.

Subs

Kieran Gibbs - 6

Brought on to steady the ship and had a decent introduction.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain - 6

Added further pace to Arsenal's front line without adding any real threat.

Mikel Arteta - N/A
