Arsenal and West Ham are among a number of European clubs believed to be keeping a firm eye on rising Portuguese star Diogo Jota, who currently plays his football for 5th place Primeira Liga side Paços de Ferreira.
A tweet from Monday night claiming to show a list of clubs with scouts present at Paços de Ferreira vs Vitoria Setubal has 'done the rounds', so to speak, and a number of sources believe they were there specifically to watch Jota in action.
Aston Villa had eyes on the game too, and as well as the three Premier League clubs, a scout from Barcelona was also in the stands.
Nobody was there on behalf of Benfica, but the Portuguese giants have been reported to have actually opened talks with Jota and Paços de Ferreira already.
At just 19 years of age, Jota is still very new to first-team football. He only made his senior debut in February 2015. He has started 16 times in the Primeira Liga this season, though, scoring five goals to help his club up to fifth place.
The wiry teenager is considered an attacking midfielder and has been capped nine times by his country at Under-19 level.
