Barcelona have made Arsenal's Aaron Ramsey and Everton's John Stones two big targets for the summer following the recent lifting of the club's transfer ban, according to the Express.

The European champions were prevented by FIFA from making signings in two transfer windows after being found guilty of irregularities. But now Barca are determined to come back with a bang.

Barca manager Luis Enrique is reportedly a big fan of Ramsey, who is trying to adapt to a deeper role given the Gunners current injury crisis. The Catalan club are preparing to make a bid in the summer of around £50m to try and tempt Arsene Wenger to let go of his man.

It is also reported that the Blaugrana will join the hunt for well sought-after Everton defender John Stones.

Stones was primarily linked with Chelsea over the summer but clubs including Manchester United, Real Madrid and now Barca have jointed the fight.

Barcelona reportedly would have no qualms about tabling another big-money bid for the 21-year-old - who Gerard Pique named in his world team of the year earlier in the season.

It is believed Stones would slot alongside Pique in central defence, while a role would be found to accommodate Ramsey.

As is expected when a European giant comes knocking, the players could be tempted leaving Arsenal and Everton with the tough task of keeping their men.
