Manchester United look for Pedro alternatives as Chelsea aim to offload a winger or two as they become favourites to sign a Juventus star.
Meanwhile, a Crystal Palace striker nears the exit door and there's an update on Everton's chase for Andriy Yarmolenko.
All this and more in a bumper Thursday edition of Premier League transfer rumours!
15. Sunderland Could Sell Winger Giaccherini
Sunderland could sell winger Emanuele Giaccherini as they look to swell their bank balance to strengthen their squad in other areas, according to the Daily Mail.
He doesn't seem to be in Dick Advocaat's plans, and has emerged as a target for Bologna after his agent said: "We had a rethink on the situation that has been created in England. He is certainly not lacking for offers. He could decide his future within two days."
14. Palace Ready to Let Murray Go to Bournemouth
With Crystal Palace striker Marouane Chamakh nearing full fitness, the Mirror report that the Eagles are willing to let Glenn Murray go to Bournemouth for around £3m.
Palace boss Alan Pardew has said that having Chamakh fit "will be like having a new signing,” and it's thought that his return would leave Murray surplus to requirements after the other reinforcements that the side have brought in over the summer.
13. Chelsea to Sell Winger After Pedro Capture
Chelsea look set to offload one of their wingers after snatching Pedro from right under the noses of Manchester United. The Express report that Juan Cuadrado could well be the man out the door, barely six months after joining the Premier League champions, with Juventus interested in taking him to Serie A.
Foot Mercato, on the other hand, report that the Blues have gone as far as offering Willian to Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain after his less-than-impressive start to the new campaign.
It does look likely that at least one of the pair will leave, with Cuadrado already linked with a move away before the Pedro move thanks to his lack of playing time at Stamford Bridge.
12. Chelsea Favourites for Pogba
The Express report that Chelsea have been installed as 6/4 favourites to sign Paul Pogba this summer, after they flexed their transfer muscles by beating Manchester United to the signing of Pedro from Barcelona.
Manchester City are second favourites, although their attention seems mostly focussed on bringing Nicolas Otamendi and Kevin de Bruyne to the Etihad at the moment rather than on a shock swoop for the Juventus star.
11. Manchester United Targets Not for Sale
Manchester United have been pushed back in their pursuit of two more attacking targets, after failing to secure the signing of Pedro from Barcelona this week.
Southampton's Sadio Mane emerged as a shock target on Wednesday evening, but the Daily Star says that the Saints have been quick to insist that the Senegal star will not be sold to United or anybody else.
Meanwhile, the Manchester Evening News run quotes from Bayern Munich officials insisting that they won't sell striker Thomas Muller at any cost after reports emerged of a possible £60m bid from United for the Germany international.
10. Hammers Knocked Back in Hunt for Turkish Striker
Galatasaray have told West Ham that they will not be selling 30-year-old striker Burak Yilmaz, as the Hammers look to bring in reinforcements following injuries to Andy Carroll and Enner Valencia.
According to the Evening Standard, the Turkish club said: "West Ham United offered us €5m [£3.5m] for Burak Yilmaz. But our player didn't demand leaving and also our club has no thought of selling him."
9. West Brom Keep Chasing Spurs Defender
West Brom have continued their bid to sign out-of-favour Spurs centre-back Federico Fazio, according to The Mirror, who report that the London club have agreed to let the 28-year-old talk to the Baggies.
The deal for Fazio is thought to be completely separate from Spurs' chase of West Brom striker Saido Berahino, for whom Tottenham had a £18m bid turned down this week.
8. Spurs Set to Raid Saints Again
Southampton could be set to lose yet another player to one of their top-six rivals from last season, with Spurs reportedly interested in bringing midfielder Victor Wanyama to White Hart Lane according to the Daily Mail.
The Saints have already lost Nathaniel Clyne, Morgan Schneiderlin and Toby Alderweireld this summer, and to lose Wanyama as well could see their side crumble after a mediocre start to the season has seen them pick up just a single point from their first two games.
Spurs are said to see the Kenya international as an experienced head in the most deep-lying section of their midfield, with youngsters Eric Dier, Ryan Mason and Nabil Bentaleb currently competing for those two spots.
7. Newcastle Want £15.5m for Sissoko
More from the Mail, this time reporting that Newcastle have told AC Milan that they'll have to put up a bid of around £15.5m if they want to take midfielder Moussa Sissoko from St James' Park this summer.
Sissoko hinted in January that he could be interested in a move to a bigger club, but did admit "It does not depend on me. I am under contract with Newcastle."
6. Villa Linked with Ajax Left-Back
Aston Villa have been linked with a move for Danish international Nicolai Boilesen by the Birmingham Mail, as Tim Sherwood looks to add cover to his squad.
Currently out of favour in the Eredivisie with Ajax, Boilesen is thought to be seen as a solid back-up for new signing Jordan Amavi - especially if Kieran Richardson leaves the club for Sunderland before the transfer window closes.
5. Stoke Preparing Bid for Saints Target
The Express report that Stoke City are preparing to make a bid for Southampton target Virgil van Dijk as they continue their hectic summer in the transfer market.
Celtic are already thought to have lined up replacements for Van Dijk should he leave, giving the clubs chasing the defender the green light to start making bids, with just under two weeks remaining in the transfer window.
4. Manchester United Look to Pedro Alternatives
Manchester United are looking to move on from their disappointing failure to sign Pedro, with ESPN reporting that Louis van Gaal's side are now looking towards Dinamo Moscow's Aleksandr Kokorin.
Kokorin's agent has confirmed that the Red Devils have made contact with his club with a view to securing a move - but so have Tottenham, setting United up for another transfer fight.
3. Besiktas Meet With Ozil Representatives
Besiktas' head of transfers Erdal Torunogullari has reportedly met with the agent of Arsenal's Mesut Ozil, report the Metro.
Erol Kaynar, an ex-board member at the Turkish club, reportedly claimed on Turkish radio: "Erdal met with Mesut Ozil’s representatives last week and made an enquiry."
It's not believed that a move is on the cards any time soon, with Ozil still well-established in the Gunners' first-team, but the Turks could be trying to lay the foundations for a move later in Ozil's career.
2. Everton Move for Yarmolenko Still Not Complete
The Express report that Everton's move for Dynamo Kiev attacker Andriy Yarmolenko is still a way from completion, despite a reported offer of £17.5m from the Toffees.
Dynamo are said to be keen to get rid of Yarmolenko this summer to avoid losing him for free in a year's time, and it could be the player's ambition that's holding up the move - with reports last season that he wanted a move to Chelsea.
The Blues aren't interested in him this summer but there have been reports of interest from Spurs and Liverpool, both of whom can at least offer him European football this season.
1. Liverpool Linked to Dortmund Midfielder
You know how it is - good early season performances in August mean links to big clubs before the transfer window closes. Tale as old as time, and all that.
Spelling-conscious writer's nightmare Henrikh Mkhitaryan scored twice in Dortmund's opening Bundesliga match last weekend, and is now being linked to Liverpool in the Liverpool Echo, with a fee of around £17m being thrown around.
