Propelled to national stardom - it would be easy for Harry Kane to follow the trend and neglect the morals that made him one of the most talked about players during the 2014/15 Premier League season. But thankfully, a certain 21-year-old has remained level headed and grounded away from White Hart Lane, reports the Mail Online.

Bested only by Manchester City's Sergio Agüero in the Premier League's goals department during the previous campaign - Kane scored 21 goals for Tottenham Hotspur during the entire 2014/15 campaign; aswell as finding the back of the net on his senior England debut at Wembley against Lithuania.

Speaking to Esquire at length, the 'future' of English football revealed all on his breakout Tottenham season and his personal life, which is far from the lavish and exciting lifestyle that you would have expected.

"If I need to relax, I take them both out for a walk [dogs], or I play a round of golf. I can't remember the last time I went to a club.

"Obviously, everyone's different, but I love just settling down and having a barbecue with my friends at the house."

Speaking on his girlfriend, Katie, the Englishman spoke of their relationship and how she has taken to her partners new found fame.

"We went to school together, so she's seen my whole career," he said.

"Of course, she's finding it a little crazy. I think she's even been in the papers a couple of times taking the dogs out."

2014/15 has certainly been a big season for Harry Kane, with the attacker the focus point of much scrutiny since making the step up this past season. However, despite the evident pressure, the number 18 has stressed he is 'adjusting' to his new found fame well.

"I think I'm adjusting to it quite well. I was a fan once, too, so I know when people ask you for a picture or to sign something, it's a compliment that shows you're doing something right."

Despite a fantastic 2014/15 campaign, the forthcoming season will be crucial in deciding young Harry Kane's future; as the 21-year-old looks to replicate and continue the success that made him the words on every football fans lips.
