Algerian and FC Porto superstar Yacine Brahimi has dealt Premier League side Arsenal a bitter blow in the race to sign the highly-rated winger, with the 25-year-old admitting it 'would be a dream' to play for Pep Guardiola's Bayern Munich, reports A Bola.
The attacker, who has impressed in both Porto's domestic and European campaigns, has become a highly sort after property following his impressive performances during the 2014/15 season. Arsenal and Bayern Munich are reportedly leading the charge to acquire the former PSG and Rennes man's signature this summer.
Already stating he is a fan of the Algerian international, Pep Guardiola had sparked rumors of an imminent transfer following the two side's Champions League quarter-final match up in April, with the former Barcelona manager praising the number 8's performances for the Portuguese based side before those particular matches.
Although admitting he is content with playing at Estádio do Dragão for the foreseeable future, the French-born attacker has revealed his ambition to play for a world class side, with Bayern Munich topping his list.
"I am a Porto player and although they are a big team, I would like to play in one of the best clubs in the world", said Brahimi speaking to A Bola.
"Wearing the Bayern Munich shirt would be a dream."
