13. Bournemouth Look to Gayle

Bournemouth have already had plenty of time to try and plan their assault on the Premier League and will be looking for players with proven top flight quality.

According to the Daily Mail, the Cherries are taking an interest in Crystal Palace forward Dwight Gayle, who lost his regular place in the latter weeks of the season, despite having performed well in January and February.

A move for more first team football will certainly be tempting, but Palace are unlikely to sell for less than the £4.5m they paid Peterborough for the former non-leaguer in 2013.

12. Dawson Won't Be Part of Hull Exodus

Hull City defender Michael Dawson has confirmed he has no intention of walking out on the Tigers after the club succumbed to Premier League relegation at the weekend.

The veteran is quoted by the Sun as saying, "I said when I signed I’d give everything and I will keep doing that. But it is going to be a slog in the Championship."

The story may be quite different for several others though. Fellow centre-back James Chester could remain in the top flight with a new club, while Tom Huddlestone, Nikica Jelavic, Dame N'Doye and Abel Hernandez are set to be sold off to the highest bidders.

11. Baggies on Red Alert for Jedinak

Mile Jedinak was an ever present for Crystal Palace in 2013/14, but with the club taking a big step forward under Alan Pardew this season, the Australian may soon find himself left behind.

According to the Daily Mail, the Eagles are ready to listen to offers for the midfielder and West Brom will be first in the queue. A move to the Hawthorns would see Jedinak reunited with Tony Pulis, for whom he was a key figure during the Welshman's short stint at Palace.

10. Swansea Eye Garbutt Deal

Swansea manager Garry Monk did very well in the free agent market last summer, bringing in Lukasz Fabianski and Bafetimbi Gomis for nothing. Now, the Swans boss reportedly has another bargain signing on his radar.

According to the Liverpool Echo, a contract has been offered to young Everton full-back Luke Garbutt, whose current Goodison Park deal is due to expire in just a few weeks. Premier League new boys Bournemouth are also believed to be making a similar move.

However, despite technically being a free transfer, any club that signs the England U-21 international will have to pay as much as £4m compensation due to his age.

9. Advocaat Submits Sunderland Wish-list

Dick Advocaat is yet to make a decision with regards to his Sunderland future after keeping the club in the Premier League. However, the veteran Dutchman has already started talking with managing director Lee Congerton about which players to target this summer - either for himself or for the next man taking the reins.

"We've done a little bit of planning but it’s been difficult for Lee to start because of the situation. But I've spoken to him about some players, yes," Advocaat is quoted by the Sunderland Echo.

8. Southampton to Shed Ramirez

Gaston Ramirez failed to live up to his £12m price tag after signing for Southampton in 2012 and following a disappointing loan spell at Hull, the Uruguayan's time at St Mary's could now be over.

talkSPORT suggests the Saints will look to try and recoup their money in the best way they can, while Italian sources claim that several Serie A clubs are eyeing a potential cut-price deal. The former Bologna star has just 12 months left on his contract.

With Jussi Jaaskelainen set to be released by West Ham this summer, the club will need a new understudy goalkeeper and a certain League Two youngster is catching the eye.

According to the Daily Mail, the manager-less Hammers are considering a move for 21-year-old Southend stopper Daniel Bentley. The Essex native helped the Shrimpers reach League One after saving two penalties in the Playoff final shootout at Wembley over the weekend, while he also set a club record of 11 consecutive home clean sheets earlier in the season.

6. Martinez Promises Busy Everton Summer

Everton manager Roberto Martinez has promised that plenty of new faces will arrive at Goodison Park this summer, adding quality to a squad that endured a disappointing season in 2014/15.

"From our point of view we're just really looking forward to young players, who have had an opportunity, taking a bigger role and help us become a winning team," the Spaniard is quoted as saying by the Liverpool Echo.

"I expect a lot of movement but we’re certainly not actively looking to lose any of our assets."

5. Pair Given Hope in Alderweireld Chase

Toby Alderweireld enjoyed a stellar season on loan at Southampton and the club wants him to stay, but Manchester City and Tottenham now have renewed hope of hi-jacking any deal.

According to Sky Sports, the £6.8m option the Saints have on the Belgian could be revoked by parent club Atletico Madrid in exchange for a small payment. Such a move would open the market to a bidding war, with City and Spurs both rumoured to be keen on the versatile defender.

The player himself is just keen to have the situation resolved sooner rather than later, having completed moves very late in the transfer window in each of the last two summers.

4. Chelsea's Griezmann Deal Under Threat From Falcao

Chelsea are reported to have been courting Antoine Griezmann for a long time, with Jose Mourinho keen to add the Atletico Madrid forward to his ranks this summer.

However, a more recent link to Radamel Falcao could yet cause problems for the Chelsea boss. According to the Daily Express, the involvement of super-agent Jorge Mendes could be an issue. Mourinho himself is represented by the suave Portuguese and is said to be using his agent's connections within Spanish football to help broker a deal for Griezmann.

At the same time, Mendes is trying to find a new club for Falcao, another of his high profile clients. The Colombian is thought to be keen to move to Chelsea, but the Premier League champions can't afford to take both players, resulting in a potential conflict of interests for Mendes as he weighs up his priorities.

3. Liverpool Make Formal Benteke Enquiry

Ever since rediscovering his best form, Christian Benteke's name has rarely left the gossip columns, with Liverpool among the more likely destinations for the Belgian as they desperately look to replace the goals of Luis Suarez.

According to the Independent, the Reds' owners are ready to kick off their official chase for the player, having made an enquiry as to his availability.

Previous estimates suggest that Aston Villa would be happy to accept an offer of £30m or more, although Liverpool officials will try their best to negotiate that price down.

Also, Kolo Toure may yet sign a new deal with the club.

2. Arsenal Ready to Sacrifice Giroud for Benzema

Arsene Wenger is said to think that three new signings could make the difference in turning his Arsenal team into genuine Premier League title contenders next season, with a goalkeeper, a holding midfielder and a striker his priorities.

In that respect, Goal.com claims the Gunners are now ready to bid £35m for Real Madrid front-man Karim Benzema. It is believed that Wenger would also be happy to lose Olivier Giroud to make room for his international colleague, with the club willing to listen to offers.

1. Di Maria Can Leave Manchester United If He Asks

Few Manchester United fans could argue that Angel Di Maria has been anything other than average since November. He has clearly not lived up to his £60m price tag, but most still live in hope that he will come good next season, despite being linked with a quick sale.

According to the Daily Mail, United will indeed entertain the notion of selling, but only if Di Maria himself asks to leave. The Argentine has struggled to settle off the pitch, but other than a personal request, it would take a substantial bid to convince the Old Trafford chiefs to give up on their investment just yet.

United also remain in the market for Valencia defender Nicolas Otamendi, an international colleague of Di Maria's.
