The 2023/24 UEFA Champions League promises to be as entertaining and chaotic as last year as teams around Europe look to dethrone treble winners Manchester City.

Erling Haaland was on fire in UEFA's flagship competition last season, scoring 12 goals en route to City's triumph in Istanbul, but he hasn't been the only elite forward aiming to power their team to glory with the final taking place in Wembley.

Harry Kane will hope to make his second appearance in a Champions League final, this time with new club Bayern Munich, while the goals of Kylian Mbappe will be crucial as PSG target a deep run in what's set to be the Frenchman's last year in Paris.

Here are the standings for the top goalscorers in the 2023/24 Champions League.

He ended the group stage with three goals and then struck in the last-16 win over Copenhagen, before a rocket of a strike in the 3-3 draw with Real Madrid.

Wenderson Galeno evidently doesn't like Shakhtar Donetsk all that much. All of his goal contributions in the group stage came during Porto's two games against the Ukrainians. Talk about a flat-track bully, eh?

His fine campaign continued in the knockout stage as he scored a wonderful late winner against Arsenal in the first leg of their round of 16 tie.

5. Rodrygo (Real Madrid)

Erling Haaland didn't score in either of his first two Champions League games this season, but he was never going to stay quiet for long.
