The group stage draw for this the 2022/23 Continental Tyres League Cup has been made, with Manchester United being drawn in Group A with Everton.

Manchester City and Chelsea played out an entertaining final last season in the tournament, as City ran out eventual 3-1 winners at Plough Lane thanks to goals from Caroline Weir and Women's Euro 2022 winner Ellen White.

Due to their qualification for the UEFA Women's Champions League, both of last season's finalists and Arsenal will not compete in the tournament until the quarter-finals - provided they also navigate the first two round of the UWCL.

The groups are split into Northern (group A and B) and Southern (group C, D and E) sections and, while they won't feature the top three teams in the country, the likes of Ella Toone, Alessia Russo and Hanna Bennison will all compete in the early stages of the competition.

The group stage will run from 1-2 October through to 17-18 December.
