Manchester United are targeting glory in the FA Cup after 11 years without winning the famous trophy. But former United striker Dion Dublin believes it still isn't good enough if that's all Louis van Gaal's team achieves this season.

"I don't think Man United supporters want to finish fifth (in the Premier League) and win the FA Cup," Dublin explained to talkSPORT radio.

Although it would offer a significant improvement on last season's trophy-less 7th place season, Dublin amounted finishing 5th and missing out on Champions League football for a second season in a row to a "letdown."

"The fans want more than that," he continued, "winning the FA cup won't be enough, they've got to finish third at least."

Third place would mean an automatic return to the Champions League, without the need for additional qualifiers, and is the minimum requirement for the season.
