Barcelona recently appointed club legend, Xavi Hernandez as their new manager with the Spaniard replacing Ronald Koeman in the managerial hot seat after they sacked the Dutchman following a poor start to the season.

Xavi was officially presented in front of the media last Friday and the 41-year-old is not wasting time in his new role and is looking to implement a new system at the club - with AS reporting that he has put down 10 rules for the players and staff to follow.

Xavi's 10 new squad rules are:

1) Players must arrive 90 minutes before training starts.

2) Staff must arrive two hours before training starts.

3) Players must eat at the club's training ground.

4) Fines have returned.

5) Fines will be doubled for repeat offences and offenders.

6) Players must be home before midnight two days before the game.

7) Players must give their all in training.

8) The players' off-field activity will be monitored.

9) Risky activities are no longer permitted.

10) A good image is essential.

It will be interesting to see whether these 10 rules work and whether the Spanish legend can turn around the fortunes of the club, considering that the Catalan giants have struggled this season. They are currently placed ninth in the LaLiga table with 17 points from 12 games, 11 behind table toppers, Real Sociedad.
