World Cup 2022 group stage draw: Who could England face?


World Cup 2018's semi-finalists England will find out who they face in their group when the draws for the tournament to be held in Qatar later this year take place on Friday.
England belong in the top seeds in Pot 1 ahead of their draw following their latest ranking (5th) as updated by FIFA on March 31.

Who could England face in the FIFA World Cup group stage draw?
To begin with, as per FIFA's draw rules, England's group will only have one other European team at most.
England will face one team each from Pot 2, 3 and 4 except the top seeded teams.
