Juventus manager, Andrea Pirlo has admitted that he remains confident that star player, Cristiano Ronaldo will remain at Turin next season amid speculation that the striker will leave the club for greener pastures.
Ronaldo's future at Juventus has come under speculation following Juventus' exit at the hands of Porto in the round of 16 of the Champions League with the 36-year-old coming in for major criticism for his performances in Europe.
The striker has been linked with a return to Spain, but Pirlo believes that the star will stick to his contract which runs till the summer of 2022.
“We aren't thinking about it, he has one year left in his contract and we are happy he can continue playing for us. We are focused on this season and we want to conclude it best way possible. He's having a great season and last year he had a truly great campaign," he said as quoted by Goal.
Ronaldo has been enjoying another brilliant season in front of goal and was recently named the Serie A Player of the Year for 2019/20 after leading Juventus to their ninth consecutive league title. The Portugal skipper has so far scored 95 goals in just 122 appearances for them.
