India's cricketing superstar and Test skipper, Virat Kohli took to social networking site, Twitter to send a special message to Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola in true Punjabi style.
Kohli and Guardiola are both associated with sports brand PUMA, and the Indian superstar took note of City's brilliant recent run both in the Premier League and Champions League under the Spaniard.
"Pep, bohot vadiya chal reha hai kam. Tu kam khicheya hai Man city ch, rukna nahi hun, theek hai. Es vaari vi title laike jaana hai (Pep, the game is going really well. You have done wonders for Man City, don't stop now, alright. We have to take this title home again)," the 33-year-old wrote on Twitter.
The Cityzens recent run has seen them jump to the top of the Premier League table and they have a chance to extend their run when they are in action against Newcastle United in the league on Sunday, 19 December.
In what was treat for fans of both cricket and football, the duo were involved in a conversation during a virtual session organised by PUMA last year - during which Kohli spoke about his love for football while Guardiola wished the cricketer the best of luck for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) season.
