The biggest game of the second leg of the round of 16 fixtures of the Champions League takes place later tonight when Real Madrid host Paris Saint-Germain, with the Los Blancos trailing 1-0 from the first leg.

Here, we take a look at things to watch out for in this much anticipated fixture.

1. Mbappe understood to be fit and raring to go

There was a major doubt regarding the participation of Kylian Mbappe for the game considering that he had injured himself in training. However, according to reports in the PSG camp, the Frenchman will take part in the game and this should worry the Los Blancos.

The striker has been his side's best player this season and was the main reason why PSG won the first leg 1-0. Madrid should be vary of the youngster and how they manage to deal with him will in all probability decide the course of the game.

2. Madrid could miss two key midfielders

Madrid were hit a blow in the first leg after it emerged that Casemiro would miss the game due to suspension and now it has emerged that they could be without another key player in Toni Kroos.

The duo along with Luka Modric make up the key make up of the side and in their absence the likes of Fede Valverde and Eduardo Camavinga will need to step up.

3. History not on Madrid's side

The Los Blancos have been eliminated from nine of their last 10 knockout ties in the competition when they have the lost the first leg, with the only exception being a 3-2 aggregate win against VFL Wolfsburg in the 2015/16 quarter-final.
