Twitter Reacts as Son Heung-min's Winner Gives Tottenham 1-0 Win Over Man City in the Premier League

Nuno Espirito Santo enjoyed the best possible start to life as Tottenham Hotspur manager as his side held on to secure an 1-0 opening day win against defending Premier League champions, Manchester City at home on Sunday.
Santo who did not pick Harry Kane in the squad due to lack of match fitness had Son Heung-min to thank for the win on the night as his brilliant strike in the 55th minute gave Tottenham the much needed confidence going into the rest of the season.
Pep Guardiola saw his City side miss some easy chances, showing why they desperately need a striker in the line up following the departure of Sergio Aguero to Barcelona.
Here, we take a look at some of the best reactions on Twitter.

City need a striker but they’ve needed a left-back for at least three years. Spurs have consistently attacked down Mendy’s side. #TOTMCI

#THFC 1 City 0. What a performance from Spurs, who thoroughly deserve the win. Defended impeccably, full of desire and always had a threat on the counter.

So many outstanding displays - any of Tanganga, Moura + Sanchez would be deserving MOM winners. Skipp, Son + Dele also great
Pep Guardiola has lost four consecutive away games against the same opposition for the first time in his managerial career.
