Twitter Reacts as Cristiano Ronaldo Breaks Men's International Goalscoring Record

Portugal icon, Cristiano Ronaldo is widely considered to be one of the greatest players in the history of the sport, with the striker creating/breaking numerous records during his career so far, which includes winning five Ballon d'Or awards.
Ronaldo was at it again on Wednesday as he broke the international goalscoring record by netting his 110th and 111th goal for Portugal after leading them to a dramatic 2-1 win over Republic of Ireland in a World Cup qualifier.
The 36-year-old equalled the record held by Iran legend, Ali Daei during the 2020 European Championships, with Daei scoring 109 goals for Iran between 1993 and 2006. This feat was celebrated by a number of his fans, with many taking to Twitter to hail the footballing superstar.
