The summer transfer window is already heating up as managers eye new recruits to strengthen their squads. Harry Kane is still intent on leaving Tottenham, with the likes of Manchester City, Manchester United, and Chelsea all interested.
Real Madrid have filled their vacant managerial spot by bringing back Carlo Ancelotti, who spent the last season with Everton.
Liverpool have already made their move in the market by signing RB Leipzig defender Ibrahima Konate, and will be looking to bring in a few more reinforcements too. United have gone ahead and brought in Sancho and many other top clubs are being linked with big names.
With that, here are the top transfer rumours of the day.
Bayern target Sergio Roberto
Bayern Munich have reportedly begun talks with Barcelona over a potential move for Sergi Roberto this summer, according to Goal and SPOX.
The Bavarian giants are exploring a loan with an option to buy the right-back in the future. Sergi Roberto is out of contract next summer, and Barcelona are looking to offload several players in order to free up their wage bill.
Juventus set asking price for Demiral
Juventus have reportedly set a £35m asking price for Merih Demiral, according to Goal.
The Serie A giants paid £16m to bring Demiral to Turin from Sassuolo in 2019, but the 21-year-old has failed to nail down a spot in the starting XI. Everton are reportedly interested in signing the Turkish center-back ahead of the new season.
Barca to offload trio
Barcelona are reportedly set to offload three defenders as they look to reduce their massive wage bill ahead of the new season.
According to SPORT, Clement Lenglet, Sergino Dest, and Samuel Umtiti could also be on their way out of the club in the coming few days. A number of players, including Antoine Griezmann, have been linked with an exit from Camp Nou as the LaLiga giants look to balance their books.
Atletico president talks up Griezmann return
Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo gave his thoughts on the rumours surrounding Antoine Griezmann and Saul Niguez, and admitted that "everything is possible".
He told reporters: "I have no idea, they haven't told me anything, I don't know anything. I do not know how the negotiations are, not even if there are any, but there is time left for you to know what is going to happen. In the world of football everything is possible but in the Griezmann's case I have no idea, nor have I asked."
