The summer transfer window is fast approaching with the Premier League scheduled to finish on Sunday, May 23 which may imply that the transfer window is most likely to reopen on Monday, June 1.

Top clubs across Europe are still looking to boost their squad ahead of the new season, and clear out their wage bill as well. 

With that in mind, here's a look at the latest transfer rumours from around the world....

1. Manchester City will target Harry Kane if their bid for Erling Haaland fails

Manchester City will consider making a bid for Harry Kane if they are unable to sign their top transfer target Erling Haaland this summer.

The Times have revealed that Haaland is City’s first choice striker to replace the outgoing Sergio Aguero.

If they fail to sign Haaland, City have already set up a backup in Kane.

2. Manchester United make offer for Sergio Aguero

Manchester United have made an offer for Argentine forward Aguero, 32, who will leave Manchester City in the summer, with Chelsea, Inter Milan and Paris St-Germain also among the clubs to table their interest, claim FootMercato, via Star.

3. Salah believes it is possible he will play in Spain in the future

Liverpool attacker Mohamed Salah says it is possible he will play in Spain in the future. The 28-year-old Egypt international has been linked with Real Madrid and Barcelona according to Marca.

4. Juventus to fund a move for Aouar by selling two players

Juventus will look to fund a move for 22-year-old Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar by selling his fellow Frenchman Adrien Rabiot, 25, and Wales international Aaron Ramsey, 30, as reported by CalcioMercato.
