With the summer transfer window about to shut down, clubs across Europe are still eying new recruits to strengthen their squads. Harry Kane has revealed he will be staying at Tottenham, leaving Manchester City still looking for a new striker.

Liverpool have already made their move in the market by signing RB Leipzig defender Ibrahima Konate, and will be looking to bring in a few more reinforcements too. Manchester United have gone ahead and brought in Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane as well as Cristiano Ronaldo, Messi has moved to PSG while many other top clubs are being linked with big names.

With that, here are the top transfer rumours of the day.

Barca reject Emerson bid

Barcelona have reportedly snubbed Tottenham's opening bid for Emerson Royal, according to ESPN.

The report claims that Spurs' bid was reportedly for €20 million plus Serge Aurier, but the LaLiga giants will only consider a "huge offer" for the right-back.

Zorc shuts down Haaland-PSG rumours

Borussia Dortmund director Michael Zorc has hit out at rumours linking Erling Haaland to Paris Saint-Germain amid talk of the French giants submitting a €200million bid for the 21-year-old.

When asked whether the club's resolve could be tested by a €200m offer, Zorc told Kicker: “We are a football club, not a bank! Our position is very clear and did not change. I assume that we will now be confronted with wild rumours for another two days. Our position is clear, I don't need to play the parrot all the time."

Chelsea to miss out on Saul

Chelsea are reportedly set to miss out on a deal for Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez, according to Sky Italia.

The report claims that the Blues submitted an official loan offer for the 26-year-old, but it did not match the LaLiga champions' expectations.

Juve contact Pjanic over move

Juventus have reportedly contacted Barcelona midfielder Miralem Pjanic over a potential return to Turin, according to Goal.

Pjanic moved to Barca from Juve in an exchange deal involving Arthur last summer but has failed to live up to expectations, and with Barca looking to offload several first-team players, the Bosnian could find himself out the door at Camp Nou.
