With less than a week left for the summer transfer window to shut, managers are still eying new recruits to strengthen their squads. Harry Kane has revealed he will be staying at Tottenham, leaving Manchester City still looking for a new striker.

Liverpool have already made their move in the market by signing RB Leipzig defender Ibrahima Konate, and will be looking to bring in a few more reinforcements too. Manchester United have gone ahead and brought in Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane, while many other top clubs are being linked with big names.

With that, here are the top transfer rumours of the day.

Moriba wants Leipzig switch

Barcelona's Ilaix Moriba is reportedly pushing for a switch to RB Leipzig, according to transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano.
He claims that the player and his agents have had an agreement with Leipzig since weeks, and the Bundesliga side are willing to offer him a five-year deal valid from June 2022.

Carvajal hopeful of Mbappe transfer

Dani Carvajal is hopeful Real Madrid can sign Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe before the transfer window shuts next week.
"Hopefully Mbappe can join us before the window closes, he's a great player and would be some reinforcement," the right-back said. Brazilian midfielder Casemiro added that Mbappe is "a player of great quality", but said he preferred not to speak about a footballer who still belongs to PSG.

Traore wants Spurs move

Adama Traore is reportedly determined to complete a switch to Tottenham before the summer window closes, according to Cadena SER.
The report claims that the Wolves winger has told his agent, Jorge Mendes, to push for a move so that he can reunite with his former boss, Nuno Espirito Santo, in north London.

Juve trying to sign Icardi on loan

Juventus are reportedly trying to sign Paris Saint-Germain striker Mauro Icardi on loan, according to Corriere Della Sera.
Icardi has fallen down the pecking order at the Parc des Princes following the arrival of Lionel Messi. The report adds that the Serie A giants will have the option to buy the 28-year-old next summer if the loan deal works out.
