The summer transfer window is approaching fast and while the dates for the window have not been announced yet, the Premier League is slated to finish on Sunday, May 23 which may imply that the transfer window is most likely to reopen on Monday, June 1.

Top clubs across Europe are still looking to boost their squad ahead of the new season, and clear out their wage bill as well. With that in mind, here's a look at the latest transfer rumours from around the world.

Real Madrid say no to Ronaldo

Real Madrid are reportedly not interested in bringing Cristiano Ronaldo back to the Santiago Bernabeu this summer.

The Portuguese has been linked with a move away from Juventus, despite having a year left on his current deal. Former club Real Madrid were touted as one possible destination, but according to OkDiario, Zinedine Zidane isn't keen on re-signing the 36-year-old, but instead wants to focus all efforts on bringing in either Kylian Mbappe or Erling Haaland.

Liverpool and Chelsea join Odegaard race

Liverpool and Chelsea have reportedly joined Arsenal in the race for Real Madrid star Martin Odegaard.

Arsenal are hoping to strike an agreement with Los Blancos over Odegaard's future this summer. However, according to the Daily Star, the north Londoners are concerned about getting into a bidding war with Liverpool and Chelsea, who are reportedly interested in the midfielder.

Muller hints at Bayern exit

Thomas Muller has admitted he is open to leaving Bayern Munich, insisting that he is not "fixed" to the Bundesliga giants.

Muller has been at Bayern since 2008, and has gone on to become on of their most important players over the years. "I'm not fixed to this club," the Bayern forward told The Times.

"I have a special relationship, I love Bayern before I started playing for them, but when there is a situation where you have to decide maybe to play for a different club it would be no shame and no problem at all.

"Maybe like with Thiago [Alcantara, now at Liverpool]."

Liverpool in advanced talks to sign Konate

Liverpool are reportedly in advanced talks to sign RB Leipzig defender Ibrahima Konate, according to The Athletic.

The 21-year-old has a £34m release clause, and Jurgen Klopp's side are hoping to get a deal over the line for the in-demand defender. The Reds have struggled defensively this season, and Konate's arrival would provide with extra cover at the back.

Lacazette linked to Roma

Arsenal forward Alexandre Lacazette is reportedly a number one target for AS Roma this summer, according to ASRomaLive.it.

The Frenchman enters the final year of his contract at the Etihad has also been linked with moves to Sevilla and Atletico Madrid. He has found himself in and out of Mikel Arteta's team this season, and has scored 11 goals in 25 Premier League appearances.
