The summer window may have shut, but the air is still thick with transfer rumours as clubs continue to monitor targets, already looking forward to the January window.

Some big names could be on the move in the coming few months, and we're here to keep you posted on the latest transfer rumours.

With that, here are the top transfer rumours of the day.

Xavi offered Barca manager role

Xavi has reportedly been offered the Barcelona manager role following Ronald Koeman's sacking, according to Goal.
Koeman was let go following Wednesday's defeat at Rayo Vallecano - a result that left Barca ninth on the LaLiga table, having won just four of their opening 10 league games.

United prepared to lose Pogba for free

Manchester United are reportedly prepared to lose Paul Pogba on a free transfer next summer, according to ESPN.
The 28-year-old is out of contract at the end of the current season and has, so far, refused to pen a new deal. Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus, and Real Madrid have been linked with a move for the Frenchman.

Arsenal interested in Zakaria

Arsenal are reportedly interested in Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Denis Zakaria, according to Sport Bild.
The 24-year-old is out of contract at the end of the current season and will be free to negotiate a pre-contract agreement with potential suitors during the January transfer window.
