We are inching closer towards the January transfer window, and many clubs have already begun to identify the positions they need to strengthen and the players they need to sign in order to achieve that.

Liverpool, who have been massively hit by injuries, could look into the winter transfer market to address the problem, while Everton are said to be leading the chase to sign Juventus midfielder, Sami Khedira, who has not featured in any game for the Serie A champions so far the season.

ESPN report that Arsenal have been offered the chance to sign Christian Eriksen by Inter Milan in January for a fee that is less than what the Italian side paid for the Danish attacking midfielder at the start of the year.

Italian outlet CalcioMercato suggest Everton are leading the chase to sign Sami Khedira in the January transfer window.

The 33-year-old German midfielder is said to be not part of Andrea Pirlo's plans at Juventus and has not featured in any games for the Old Lady so far this season.

He is said to be favouring a move to the English top-flight, and Everton appears to be in pole position to the sign the midfielder, who won the FIFA World Cup 2014 with Germany.

Football Insider report that Everton are keeping an eye on Tottenham Hotspur trio of Harry Winks, Dele Alli Paulo Gazzaniga - three players who have struggled for game time at the north London outfit this season.

Tottenham could be expected to listen to loan offers for both Winks and Alli, while the Premier League leaders might be willing to sell Gazzaniga, who has fallen further down the pecking order after the arrival Joe Hart in the summer.

Arsenal and Manchester United offered chance to sign Eriksen

Arsenal and Manchester United have reportedly been offered the chance to sign Inter Milan outcast Christian Eriksen according to Corriere dello Sport.

And according to ESPN, both clubs have been offered the chance to sign the Danish attacking midfielder for a fee that is less than what Inter paid to sign him from Tottenham Hotspur at the start of 2020.

Eriksen has struggled for form at the Serie A outfit, and looks most likely to leave the club in the January transfer window.
