Man United prepare five-man managerial shortlist

Manchester United have drawn up a five-man shortlist as they look to replace the sacked Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on an interim basis.

Michael Carrick has been appointed caretaker until United can appoint a successor to Solskjaer. According to the Daily Mail, the club have shortlisted five candidates for the role, including Ernesto Valverde, Lucien Favre, Ralf Rangnick, Paulo Fonseca, and Rudi Garcia.

Pochettino wants Trippier and Kounde at United

Mauricio Pochettino has reportedly already told Manchester United he wants Kieran Trippier and Jules Kounde at the club if he takes over, according to La Razon.

United are set to wait until the end of the season to appoint a permanent coach, and Pochettino reportedly leads the list of potential candidates.
