Lopetegui rejects Tottenham

Sevilla president Jose Castro has revealed that Tottenham made a "dizzying" offer to Julen Lopetegui to take over as manager. Spurs have been linked to Pochettino, Erik ten Hag, Brendan Rodgers, Julian Nagelsmann, Fonseca, Gennaro Gattuso, and now Lopetegui are in their third month of searching for a new manager.

In an interview with Spanish radio station Cadena SER (via BBC), Castro said: “Julen rang me and told me. He said he’d received offers he’d not listened to in addition to a dizzying one from Tottenham. We believe in him, giving him a two-year contract extension, and I’m sure he will bring much more to the club."
