The summer window may have shut, but the air is still thick with transfer rumours as clubs continue to monitor targets, already looking forward to the January window.

Some big names could be on the move in the coming few months, and we're here to keep you posted on the latest transfer rumours.

With that, here are the top transfer rumours of the day.

Chelsea eyeing Hazard return

Chelsea are reportedly trying for a return to West London for former striker Eden Hazard, according to El Nacional.

The Belgian swapped Stamford Bridge for Real Madrid, but has failed to live up to expectations in LaLiga, and has rumoured to be heading towards an exit.

Barca to outspend Madrid for Mbappe

Barcelona reportedly intend to outspend Real Madrid in order to get their hands on Kylian Mbappe, according to AS.

The PSG star is set to become a free agent at the end of the current season unless he pens a new deal with the French giants. Madrid have been long linked with a switch for Mbappe, but Barca are reportedly planning to hijack their LaLiga rival's plans for the 22-year-old.

Fonseca to Newcastle?

Paulo Fonseca is open and ready to accept the Newcastle managerial job, according to transfer specialist, Fabrizio Romano.

He claims the board are still looking at candidates, however, former Chelsea and Inter boss Antonio Conte is no longer an option. Fonseca wants a chance to prove himself in the Premier League after failed Spurs talks last summer.
