The summer transfer window is already heating up as managers eye new recruits to beef up their squads. Harry Kane is still intent on leaving Tottenham, with the likes of Manchester City, Manchester United, and Chelsea are all interested.
Real Madrid have filled their vacant managerial spot by bringing back Carlo Ancelotti, who spent the last season with Everton.
Liverpool have already made their move in the market by signing RB Leipzig defender Ibrahima Konate, and will be looking to bring in a few more reinforcements too.
With that, here are the top transfer rumours of the day.
City bid £100m for Harry Kane
Manchester City have reportedly made a £100million bid for Tottenham's Harry Kane as they look to get an edge over Premier League rivals Chelsea and Manchester United.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, City have offered a player-plus-cash deal for Kane, but goes on to claim that Levy will not be happy with the bid since it doesn't meet the club's asking price for their star striker. Both Manchester United and Chelsea are also interested in signing the Three Lions' captain, but could be priced out of a move, if City do go ahead with their mammoth bid.
Madrid reject Pogba-Varane swap
Real Madrid have reportedly rejected an offer from Manchester United for Raphael Varane that would see Paul Pogba head the other way.
According to AS, the Red Devils were willing to offer Pogba in a straight swap for Varane, but Cuatro further report that Madrid turned down the offer and are holding out for £80million. The report adds that Los Blancos are eager to sign Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe, and will be looking to cash in on players like Varane this summer.
Ramos prefers PSG move
Sergio Ramos reportedly prefers a move to Paris Saint-Germain over the Premier League, according to AS.
The Real Madrid captain is set to leave the club at the end of the month after failing to agree on a new deal, and has been linked with a number of top clubs, including Chelsea, Manchester City, and PSG. But according to the report, the veteran defender would prefer to move to Paris than England once he becomes a free agent.
Lingard hints at United exit
Jesse Lingard has hinted at a possible Manchester United exit this summer following a successful loan spell at West Ham last season.
As the summer transfer window heats up, the 28-year-old has revealed that playing football is more important to him than anything else right now. Speaking to Sky Sports, Lingard said: "Regular football is the most important thing for me. After going on loan and getting a good run in the team, you started to see the real me, with the goals and the assists."
