Tottenham want Nagelsmann to replace Mourinho
Tottenham reportedly want RB Leipzig boss Julian Nagelsmann to replace Jose Mourinho at the helm of the club.
According to the Daily Mail, club chairman Daniel Levy is keen on replacing the Portuguese with Nagelsmann, and could persuade the 33-year-old to move to the Premier League once the current season ends. The report adds that it could cost Spurs up to £10million to release Nagelsmann from his contract, and he could demand a significant rise on his current wages.
Perez rules out Ronaldo return
Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has dismissed all talk about a potential return to the club for Cristiano Ronaldo.
He told El Chiringuito: "Cristiano Ronaldo will not come back to Real Madrid. It does not make sense, he has a contract with Juventus. I love him a lot, he has given us a lot." He also turned down speculation over a move for Kylian Mbappe, and added: "The fans always ask me to buy Mbappe.
"My answer? I say: don't worry... the truth is that he is a good player, yes. I've never talked to Mbappe. At least up to now... I don't know what's going to happen to his contract with PSG."
