The summer transfer window is approaching fast and while the dates for the window have not been announced yet, the Premier League is slated to finish on Sunday, May 23 which may imply that the transfer window is most likely to reopen on Monday, June 1.

Real Madrid eye move for Sterling

Real Madrid are reportedly eyeing a move for Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling ahead of the summer transfer window.

According to the Daily Star, Zinedine Zidane's side are interested in making a move for Sterling when the transfer window opens. The report adds that Madrid believe they have a chance to sign Sterling after it was revealed that his contract talks with City have been put on hold until the summer.


Wijnaldum still wants Barca transfer

Liverpool star Georginio Wijnaldum is still reportedly keen on a switch to Barcelona as he wishes to play alongside Lionel Messi and Memphis Depay.

Ronald Koeman is reportedly keen on signing his fellow Dutchman, who according to the Mirror, is excited with the prospect of linking up with Messi. The report adds that the 30-year-old is also looking forward to playing with his international teammate, Depay, who is also thought to be closing in on a transfer as a free agent.


Man United lead chase for Sarr

Manchester United are reportedly leading the chase for Pape Sarr of Metz, according to The Sun.

The 18-year-old is allegedly one of the most sought-after players in Europe right now, with a number of other high-profile clubs keen on adding him to their squad, and it's believed the Red Devils will need to battle hard for his signing.


Hansi Flick to leave Bayern

Hansi Flick has revealed his intention to leave Bayern Munich at the end of the current season, after taking over in November 2019.

The 56-year-old led Bayern to the Bundesliga and Champions League during his first season in charge, but had constantly been involved in a power struggle with sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic. "The situation is I told the team today that I informed the club during the week that I wanted to get out of my contract at the end of the season," Flick told Sky Germany.
