The summer transfer window is already heating up as managers eye new recruits to strengthen their squads. Harry Kane is still intent on leaving Tottenham, with the likes of Manchester City, Manchester United, and Chelsea all interested.
Real Madrid have filled their vacant managerial spot by bringing back Carlo Ancelotti, who spent the last season with Everton.
Liverpool have already made their move in the market by signing RB Leipzig defender Ibrahima Konate, and will be looking to bring in a few more reinforcements too. United have gone ahead and brought in Sancho and many other top clubs are being linked with big names.
With that, here are the top transfer rumours of the day.
City offered Ronaldo
Cristiano Ronaldo's agent, Jorge Mendes, has reportedly offered the forward to Manchester City this summer. The Juventus man is in the final 10 months of his £25.5million-a-year contract and his future in Turin has been a topic of much speculation throughout the summer.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Mendes has offered Ronaldo to City as a cut-price alternative, insisting that Juventus would be open to selling him given he has just one year left on his current deal.
Pogba delaying contract
Paul Pogba is reportedly going to delay signing a new Manchester United contract until deadline day as he continues to be linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain.
According to the Daily Mail, the midfielder could put off signing a new deal until the transfer window shuts at the end of this month. The report adds that United want him to sign a new deal as soon as possible, and are offering him a four-year contract which would see him earn a significant raise on his current £290,000-a-week contract.
Mbappe wants Madrid move
Kylian Mbappe reportedly wants to move to Real Madrid this summer, claims El Chiringuito.
The Frenchman is in the final year of his contract at Paris Saint-Germain and is eager to make a move to Spain after many windows of speculation.
United urged to sign "perfect pair"
Rio Ferdinand has urged Manchester United to sign either Declan Rice or Saul Niguez before the summer transfer window shuts, claiming that the former would be a "massive addition" while Niguez would be a "perfect fit at Old Trafford".
Speaking on his FIVE YouTube channel, the former United man said: "I think if the right player becomes available for the right price, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will go and get him. The problem is who is out there and who could be a good fit? Saul Niguez would be a perfect fit and he’s asking price was £160 million ($221m) a couple of years ago, now it’s more like £40-50m ($55-69m)."
